The Caddie Scholarship Foundation’s annual social event took place January 5th at the USGA Museum. Members of the Caddie Scholarship family, including twenty-eight current caddie scholars, came together for a few hours of networking, reflections, and tours of the Golf Museum.

New Twists on the Rules
Every four years, the USGA and the R&A, the two bodies that govern the game of golf around the world, make revisions to the Rules of Golf. For 2012, the set of changes is more significant than usual and corrects some issues considered for a long time to need attention. The key changes attempt to better align breaches of certain Rules with their penalties.

Celebration of Golf Concludes Season
The New Jersey competitive golf season came to an official close on October 20th with the Celebration of Golf awards dinner. This is a chance for the NJSGA and NJPGA to review the highlights of their golf seasons and recognize various award winners and those who have made special contributions to the game of golf in New Jersey.
