Championship Format & Schedule
MONDAY, JULY 28- Qualifying Round- 18 Hole, Stroke Play. The low 16 scorers in advance to two days of match play on TUESDAY, JULY 29 and WEDNESDAY, JULY 30.
Entry Fee: $50.00
Entries Close: Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
NOTICE: A player must WALK and CARRY HIS OWN BAG throughout the Championship. CADDIES ARE PROHIBITED.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS – READ CAREFULLY:
Entries are open to Junior male amateur golfers who meet ALL of the following regulations:
a) He has not reached his eighteenth (18th) birthday as of 7/30/08,
b) He must be a member in good standing of a NJSGA member club or course (public or private),
c) He must have an active and valid USGA Handicap Index of 12.0 or less at the close of entries, and he must appear on that facility’s Official Handicap Roster at the time of entry, and
d) If he enters this Championship from a facility which is open to the general public or from a Club Without Real Estate, he must be a permanent resident of the State of New Jersey,
*- Boys 15 years of age or under may compete in the Junior Division provided they announce their intent prior to qualifying.
