The Montclair Golf Club team of Charles Kohut, Tom Villarosa, Victor Lagasi, and Jim Patterson today shot a 13-under par 57 to capture the Perry Sumas Championship trophy as winners of the 39th New Jersey State Golf Association Best Ball of Four Championship. Serving as the host site was the par-70, 6260 yard Lake Mohawk Golf Club in Sparta, which saw its team consisting of club members Brian Lenker, Mike Boslet, Mark Lange, and Richard Roig finish in second place with a twelve-under par 58. Ron Schnatterly recorded his second career hole in one on the par-3, 195 yard eighteenth hole.
