1^st Round and Quarterfinal Results – NJSGA/William Y. Dear

84^th Junior and 35^th Boys Championships

Rockaway River Country Club, Denville, NJ – July 26, 2005

Morgan Hoffmann of Arcola and Anthony Aloi of Cranbury both continued their outstanding play , today each winning 1^st round and quarterfinal matches in the New Jersey State Golf Association / William Y. Dear 84^th Junior and 35^th Boys Championships respectively. Hoffmann’s 5 & 4 first round victory in the Junior Division over Daniel Craig of Olde York, and his quarterfinal win over Zach Oyer of Fairmount (9 & 7) placed him in tomorrow morning’s semi-final match against Michael Corbo of the host club Rockaway River. In the Boys division, Aloi knocked off Donald Kim of Apple Ridge 4 & 2 in his first round match, and advanced to the semi-finals with a 4 & 3 quarterfinal decision over Luke Manton of Essex County. Tomorrow’s semi-final matches will begin at 7:30 in the Junior Division, and at 7:45 in the Boys Division. Championship matches will begin in each division around 12:00 noon.
