Kapheim, Loughney, Perrotta Reach U.S. Mid-amateur Match-play
Alicia Kapheim of Pennington, Amy Loughney of Hoboken and Samantha Perrotta of Bordentown have all advanced to match-play and are playing Monday in the Round of 64 at the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.
No. 58 seed Kapheim is playing No. 7 seed Sherry Wright of California; No. 53 seed Loughney is facing No. 12 Ashley Tonore of Monroe, La., and No. 46 Perrotta meets No. 19 Leslie Folson, of Seattle.
Kapheim was medalist at the U.S. Mid-Amateur qualifier conducted by the NJSGA at North Jersey Country Club in Wayne.
