NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation 60th Anniversary (1947-2007)

NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation 60th Anniversary (1947-2007)

This year, the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation is celebrating 60 years of offering financial assistance to deserving member club caddies striving for higher education. Currently, the Foundation is providing scholarship aid to 240 students attending colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

These scholarships, which are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, are based on scholastic achievement, College Board SAT scores, financial need, and length and quality of service as a caddie. An applicant must have caddied at a NJSGA member club for at least two seasons.

CADDIE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2007-2008 ARE DUE MAY 1, 2007.

The Nestor J. MacDonald Memorial Caddie Scholarship will also be available for the 2007-2008 academic year. This full tuition, fee, room, board, and book allowance scholarship will be offered to the most qualified applicant who plans to attend Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. In addition to the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Application, the University’s approved financial aid form must be submitted by March 1, 2007.

NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Applications are available online at www.njsga.org, or through the NJSGA office (973-338-8334), member club golf professionals, and New Jersey high school guidance counselors.
