Mcgovern Bests Glenz In Inaugural Njpga Senior Match Play

Jim McGovern of White Beeches defeated host PGA Professional and course designer David Glenz of Black Oak, 5 & 4, in the final match in the first-ever NJPGA Senior Match Play Championship on Monday, June 15- Wednesday, June 17 at Black Oak Golf Club in Long Valley.

The tournament, added to the schedule for the first time in 2015, included 32 Senior PGA Professionals (16 exempt & 16 qualifiers) competing against each other in singles matches.

OFFICIAL BRACKETS

In 2015, McGovern has won the NJPGA Head Pro Championship, NJPGA/NJSGA Senior Open, and now the NJPGA Senior Match Play Championship.

McGovern will also compete this summer in the PGA Professional National Championship at Philly Cricket Club, the US Senior Open at Del Paso Country Club and the Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale, N.Y.
