Brian Komline Earns No. 4 Seed At U.S. Mid-amateur

Bridgewater's Brian Komline, who plays out of Black Oak, was T-3 after the stroke-play portion and is the No. 4 seed in match-play at the U.S. Men’s Mid-Amateur at John’s Island Club in Vero Beach, Fla.

He tees off Monday at 11:10 vs. No. 61 seed Reid Hatxley of Hayden Lake, Idaho. Match-play continues until the final on Thursday.

Komline is the only golfer to have won the NJSGA Amateur, Open, Mid-Amateur and Four-Ball championships, Brian Whitman of Tinton Falls, John Browndorf of Red Bank and Darin Goldstein of New York, who plays out of Bayonne Golf Club, failed to make match-play.
