Pre-register Today For NJSGA Ultimate Team Event

NJSGA member clubs and golf courses are urged to Pre-Register for the inaugural NJSGA Ultimate Team Event (UTE). Pre-registration begins today, Friday, May 29, at 2 p.m.

The event is a 27-hole Team Net tournament using three different net formats for each nine holes and will be held at Metedeconk National on Monday, August 31.

Two-man teams will compete in three nine-hole matches consisting of four -ball, shamble and Pinehurst scoring for each twosome.

The NJSGA is inviting one two-man team from an NJSGA member club to participate in the UTE.

The fee is $450 per team. This include Green, Cart, and Forecaddie fee; use of facility and Practice Range Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and Light Appetizers after golf when prizes and awards are announce; Gifts and Prizes

There are 68 positions available to member clubs. NJSGA Member Clubs and Golf Courses must have a minimum of 50 or more active Men on the club’s GHIN Handicap roster.

Each member club can send the winner of a similar event which is held at your Club or can assign a team to represent your Club.

An official representative from an NJSGA member clubs and golf courses will be able to pre-register without paying or register and pay for a team to compete in the event.

Pre-registration reserves your club a spot in the UTE without having to pay or submit the names of the team representing your club.

- This allows your club time to select a team for the event.

- NO PREFERENCE will be given to clubs that register and pay as opposed to clubs that pre-register without payment.

- Team registration and payment must be submitted by 5pm Wednesday, August 5.
