Green Brook C.C.

Course Description

Green Brook Country Club is a member-owned country club built atop the highest peak of the scenic Caldwell Mountains in North Caldwell, New Jersey. The club was designed by Robert White and opened in 1923. Harry Smith, a key member of the original construction crew, served as the club's first professional and greens keeper.

The original clubhouse was built in 1925 and had 300 members by the end of its first decade of existence. When the 1950s rolled around, a swimming pool and tennis courts were added to accommodate the membership's desire to turn the club into a more family-oriented establishment. Since then, the clubhouse has experienced a number of renovations - all in the effort to make the Green Brook experience even more enjoyable for all members.

The most recent renovation, finished in 2003, expanded the women's locker room, the men's and ladies' card rooms, the cocktail lounge and the dining room which now offers a wrap-around terrace with breathtaking views of the golf course. With this highly functional and flexible design, Green Brook provides the ideal venue for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs parties, weddings, corporate functions, holiday celebrations, showers, etc for small intimate groups or gatherings of 300+ guests.
