USGA Handicap Index for Juniors
Through NJSGA's GHIN service, member clubs and courses can provide an official USGA Handicap Index to junior golfers ages 18 and under free of charge. Note: Some clubs may charge a discounted fee from their adult pricing.
Follow the steps below to establish a junior handicap and start getting your official USGA Handicap Index. Free junior handicaps are available at NJSGA member clubs and courses. Signing up for a FREE handicap must take place in person so that the age of the junior golfer can be verified.
- Search the NJSGA Member Directory to find a member course near you.
- Contact the course by phone or in person to establish the junior handicap.
- Once you have your GHIN number check out the Handicap Home at NJSGA.org.
