MONROE, N.J. - Due to expected severe weather later today in the Monroe area, the afternoon wave of the 101st New Jersey State Golf Association Open Championship qualifier at Forsgate Country Club has been postponed. Players in today's qualifying field whose starting time was scheduled between 12:30 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. should not report to the club.

Those scheduled to play in today's afternoon wave will be reassigned to the rescheduled qualifier which will be held on Wednesday, July 7 at Forsgate. Revised starting times will be announced and forwarded by the end of business on Friday, July 2. Those who are unable to participate on July 7 are asked to advise the NJSGA by noon on Friday, July 2 and will receive a full refund.

The 16 qualifying places which were allocated to today's qualifier will be split proportionally between today's qualifier and on Wednesday, July 7.
