Four-Ball Qualifying at Ballamor: Campanile, Hart pace field

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. –Anthony Campanile and Brian Hart, both of Deal Golf and Country Club, teamed to shoot a stellar, seven-under-par 65 to pace the field in the second of two qualifying rounds for the 89th New Jersey State Golf Association Four-Ball Championship today at the par-72, 6,851 yard Ballamor Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township. Campanile, 34 of Farmingdale, and Hart, 37 of Ocean Township, led a total of six teams which advance to the Four-Ball Championship at Galloway National Golf Club May 18-20.

Scoring

Campanile and Hart combined for seven birdies to complement scores of par on each of the other 11 holes. The duo saved their best for the stretch run , highlighted by three consecutive birdies on the par-four holes of 15, 16, and 17 to seal medalist honors over Johnny Murphy (NJSGA E-Club) and James Kelly (Stone Harbor), who finished at six-under-par, 66.

The third and final qualifier will be held next Monday, May 3 at Mercer Oaks (West) Golf Course.
