NJSGA Announces Postponement of Events through June 5, including Mid-Amateur Championship

Due to the extension of the public health emergency in New Jersey through early June, the New Jersey State Golf Association has announced the postponement of the 36th Mid-Amateur Championship. Originally scheduled for June 2-4 at North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, the NJSGA intends to reschedule this competition for male golfers age 25 and above for later this season. Further details and information will be announced in the coming weeks; those who have already entered the Mid-Amateur Championship will be contacted by the NJSGA separately.

The postponement of the Mid-Amateur Championship marks another schedule change for the NJSGA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Four-Ball Championship and Senior Open Championship are  postponed indefinitely, while the Junior Championship will also be rescheduled. The Amateur Championship has been moved to August 3-5, and three of the four qualifying rounds for that event have been moved to early July.
