KENILWORTH, N.J. – The New Jersey State Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Foundation is conducting its #GivingTuesday campaign on Tuesday, November 30th. In conjunction with the Thanksgiving season, the NJSGA is seeking charitable donations for the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation, which provides financial assistance to deserving member club caddies pursuing higher education.

Since 1947, the Caddie Scholarship Foundation has provided more than $16 million in college scholarship awards to nearly 3,100 caddies. For the 2020-21 academic year, the Foundation will provide 157 caddies with over $663,400 in scholarships. Caddie scholars are selected based on their academic performance, financial need, and length and quality of service as a caddie. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.

“It is my hope that you realize the extent of your influence and the many lives you have changed through the support and dedication you contribute to this program,” said Bill King, NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Director.

The NJSGA gives thanks to those who have generously provided donations to over 3,100 Caddie Scholars and their families in order to continue their higher education as tuition costs climb.

With a #GivingTuesday donation to the Caddie Scholarship Foundation, one random donor will win a gift basket filled with exclusive Caddie Scholarship Foundation gear! Giveaway entries begin at 10 a.m. ET on November 19, 2021 and close at 12 a.m. ET December 1, 2021.
