NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation to be Represented by the Links Insurance Services in Chubb Charity Challenge Golf Tournament Finals

KENILWORTH, NJ, NOVEMBER 3, 2017 — NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce that Links Insurance Services will be representing the organization in the national finals of the annual Chubb Charity Challenge golf tournament in November. The team has advanced to the finals after winning the local qualifying tournament in New Jersey, and they are playing with the chance to win up to $50,000 for the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation.

“We are proud to be represented by Links Insurance Services in the finals of the Chubb Charity Challenge,” said Johanna Gavin, director of the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation. “With the opportunity to win thousands in donation for our organization, this is one of many steps toward expanding our impact and supporting positive change on and off the golf course for New Jersey caddies. We’ll be cheering for Links Insurance Services!”

Launched in 1996, the Chubb Charity Challenge invites agents, brokers and clients to play a friendly round of golf in regional tournaments hosted by local Chubb branches. Competing on behalf of local charities, the winning team from each regional tournament — this year 44 teams in total — advances to the national tournament for an all-expenses paid chance to secure a prize of $50,000 for their charities.

“Last year’s Chubb Charity Challenge was one of our largest ever, hosting 351 teams from the U.S. and Canada and raising $888,000,” explained Jerry Butler, Senior Vice President, Chubb Group, Division President, Field Operations, North America Insurance. “We’re honored to be able to give back to the charities that serve our communities in such a meaningful way, and we are excited about the opportunity to give back even more through the 2017 tournament, culminating with the finals at The Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport, California, taking place November 12 – 15.”
