NJSGA Seeks Director, Caddie Scholarship Foundation

Title: Director, Caddie Scholarship Foundation, New Jersey State Golf Association (NJSGA)

Location: Kenilworth, New Jersey

Reports to: Executive Director, NJSGA

Position Summary:

Oversight and management of the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation (CSF). Responsible for all aspects of CSF business including the fundraising efforts for caddie scholarship to include, but not limited to, solicitation, record keeping, recognition, publications, website and social media.

Duties Include:

1. Oversight of day-to-day business relating to caddie scholarship

· Develop an action plan for fund raising and visit with member clubs and their representatives

· Solicit donations from clubs and individuals through the Par Club

· Develop other sources for donations such as foundations or sponsorships

· Manage/maintain/foster relationships with allied associations (PGA Section, MGA, GAP, etc.)

· Expand the base of clubs that support the CSF by direct contact

· Schedule and participate in meetings of alumni, committee and trustees

· Publish quarterly newsletter, In the Loop

2. Assist other staff and board members as assigned. Areas would likely include:

· NJSGA official publication, NJSGA GOLF · NJSGA web site, www.njsga.org

· Membership services, handicapping, course rating

· Partnership fulfillment

3. Assist in the conduct of NJSGA Tournaments as assigned. Duties would likely include:

· Tournament support including registration, live scoring and other administrative duties

· Executive Director, NJSGA

· NJSGA Board of Trustees

· Education Director, Caddie Scholarship Foundation

· Chairman, Caddie Scholarship Foundation

· Caddie Scholarship Foundation Trustees and Committee

· Caddie Scholarship Alumni Association

· NJSGA Member Clubs

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities:

· Demonstrated ability in fundraising

· Strong leadership skills and experience working with a team on multiple tasks concurrently

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (public speaking required)

· Proficient in MS Office

· Experience with InDesign a plus

· Excellent organizational skills

· Planning and implementation of the objectives of the CSF

· Oversight of the CSF fiscal budget working with the CSF Chairman and NJSGA Treasurer to monitor all checking, savings, investments and expenses related to the CSF

· Courteous and professional demeanor is required
