NJSGA, World Insurance Associates Announce Partnership

October 16, 2020 – The New Jersey State Golf Association is excited to announce its newest partnership which will offer a full array of comprehensive health benefits to the employees of our member clubs and courses.

The NJSGA recognizes the challenges faced by its member clubs and courses when seeking an affordable solution to provide quality health benefits and insurance to its employees. Purchasing coverage for small groups is typically the most costly way of providing coverage. This partnership aggregates NJSGA member clubs and courses into a large group insurance plan, taking advantage of the economy of scale presented by a large number of interested facilities.

World Insurance Associates, based in Tinton Falls, N.J., has partnered with the NJSGA to bring best-in-class, tailored health plan options to member golf clubs and courses in the state. This program, available to all NJSGA public and private member facilities, furnishes employees with broad, national health care provider networks and reference-based pricing models to bring high-quality health benefits.

Multiple plans through World Insurance Associates are available on a level-funded basis which enables clubs and courses to purchase health plans at very competitive rates. There is unlimited major health coverage available to facilities and groups of all sizes, and the team at World Insurance Associates stands ready to provide expertise both before, and after, choosing the right plan.

The first step is to complete an on-line, completely confidential personal health questionnaire (PHQ) which is encrypted and HIPAA compliant. Then, after evaluation by World Insurance Associates, facilities will be provided with a selection of plans to consider. After reviewing and choosing the right plan, employees will be quickly enrolled and provided with new health plan cards. Customers will have access to a nationwide network of doctors and pharmacies, and to an experienced, responsive, and dedicated team to provide expertise and information.

As golf clubs and courses throughout the state work diligently to minimize expenses while maintaining attractive employee health benefit packages, the NJSGA believes this program is of particular importance and can provide significant cost savings. We encourage all of our member clubs and courses to participate in the first phase of this project by asking their employees to complete the Personal Health Questionnaire (PHQ).

Those interested in participating should contact Kevin Purcell at 908-241-GOLF or kevinp@njsga.org.
