"I am humbled and honored to be selected as the next Head Golf Professional at Rumson Country Club. I am very much looking forward to becoming a part of such a wonderful family-oriented club. I am excited about getting to the area, meeting the people, and building great relationships at the club and in the surrounding community."

"I feel that I have had success at similar clubs to Rumson, having grown up on Cape Cod and having intimate knowledge of the culture at seaside family-oriented clubs (Woods Hole and Wianno) much like Rumson."

Added Brett T. Flynn, President of Rumson Country Club: "It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you our newest addition to the RCC family and the 15th Head Golf Professional of Rumson Country Club."

At Chevy Chase Club, which boasts 2,500 members and is located five miles from the White House, LaDow served in various capacities, including instruction and pro shop operations.

"With my background, I am confident that I can succeed in all facets of the operation," LaDow said. "I consider myself a traditional golf professional, one who is skilled in member services, staff management, creative merchandising, innovative tournament operations as well as in my teaching and playing ability.

"Striking a balance between all those elements is what makes a golf operation successful." LaDow enjoyed a successful collegiate baseball career at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. As a catcher, he was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore. He also played in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League for the Falmouth Commodores.

"Rumson Country Club could not be more enthused to have Kelly LaDow as its new Head Golf Professional. The process, which was assisted greatly by PGA Career Services, yielded many highly qualified candidates," said Rusty Hawley, Rumson CC's Golf Chairman. "The Club is gratified to have Mr. LaDow aboard, as he clearly emerged as the best choice among many solid candidates."
