Teams Announced For NCAA D1 Men's Regionals

UPDATE (5/18/17): Mike Graboyes finished +8 for three rounds. Final results here.

On Thursday, May 4th at noon the GolfChannel aired live the selections for the NCAA D1 Men's Regional Golf Championship.

Watchung Valley Country Club (formerly Twin Brooks Country Club) Caddie Scholar Mike Graboyes, representing Cornell University, recently medaled at the 2017 Ivy League Championship. His win warrants Graboyes 2017 All-Ivy League first team honors and automatic qualification into the regionals of the golf NCAA Championship later this month.

The junior was placed in the Stanford Regional for the NCAA D1 Men's Golf Championship. Graboyes will compete in a 54-hole stroke play event on May 15-17 at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California. Thirteen teams and nine other individuals will compete to advance to the championship on May 26-31 in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The top five teams and one individual will advance.

Graboyes is the second Cornell golfer to win the medalist honors at the Ivy League Championships. His older brother, senior Luke Graboyes, also a Watchung Valley Country Club Caddie Scholar, won the event last year and went on to compete at an NCAA regional in Kohler, Wisconsin.
