The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • The USGA has a new one-stop shop showcases upgraded features and synergy with redesigned website. For the first time, the USGA App will feature live scoring and coverage of all 15 USGA championships through an elevated user experience that will provide a more engaging digital landscape for fans to immerse themselves in their national championships.  (Click for more)
  • Ryan Hager and Sean Golden of Plainfield Country Club claimed the Johnnie-O Pro-Pro Championship at Galloway National Golf Club from April 10-11. (Click for more)
  • Sarah Shao of the Wardlaw-Hartridge School won the Red Devil Invitational at Copper Hill Country Club on April 10. (Click for more)
  • Dan Cassidy of Middletown South High School won the Sayreville Bombers Classic at The Meadows on April 11. (Click for more)
  • On the LPGA Tour, the Lotte Championship presented by Hoakalei gets underway today. New Jersey’s Marina Alex is set to tee off at 7:44 a.m (Click for more)
  • On the Korn Ferry Tour, the Veritex Bank Championship is set to begin on April 13 as Ryan McCormick (8:36 a.m.) and Max Greyserman (2:38 p.m.) will make another start. The pair both sit in the top-20 of the KFT Points List after six events. (Click for more)
  • The LPGA Cognizant Founders Cup at Upper Montclair Country Club has a Buy One Get One Free Weekly Grounds Badge offer for NJSGA members. Age 17 and under get in free with ticketed adult. NJSGA members can contact rgaona@njsga.org for the promo code. (Click for more)
  • Registration is open for the Inaugural St. Francis Community Center Golf Outing, which will take place May 8, 2023 at LBI National Golf Club. (Click for more)
  • The USGA has announced its third annual Junior Poster Design Contest. The winning posters will be displayed on-site at the 78th U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links from July 6-9, 2023. (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for all four LPGA events that are being conducted in New Jersey this season. (Click for more)
  • As of April 1, active score posting season in New Jersey has begun. Therefore, scores from rounds played which comply with the Rules of Handicapping must be posted. (Click for more)
  • Registration is now open for the 21st New Jersey Evans Scholars Classic at Hawk Pointe Golf Club on July 17. (Click for more)
  • Five Caddie Training sessions are left at various locations. (Click for more)
