  • The 106th Met Open presented by Callaway will be held this week at Hudson National Golf Club. There are several accomplished New Jersey golfers in the field, including 101st NJSGA Open champion Tyler Hall, 119th NJSGA Amateur champion Austin Devereux and many others. (Click for more)
  • Ryan Skae (Old Tappan) opens Korn Ferry Pre-Qualifying School at Brunswick Country Club in Brunswick, Georgia from Aug. 25-27. (Click for more)
  • New Jersey’s Max Greyserman will continue to compete in the Korn Ferry Tour playoffs this week at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in Columbus, Ohio. Greyserman is looking to earn a top-25 finish across the three playoff events to earn his PGA Tour card. (Click for more)
  • The NJPGA announced its 2021 Special Awards. The New Jersey PGA, in conjunction with the New Jersey State Golf Association, plans to recognize the award recipients on Thursday, October 28th at the Celebration of Golf at Canoe Brook Country Club. (Click for more)
  • The 66th U.S. Senior Amateur Championship is set to be played at the Country Club of Detroit from August 28 – September 2 and three Garden State players are in the field. Bob Johnston (Haworth), Thomas Lefebvre (Upper Saddle River), Joe Roeder (Marlton) will be competing on the 6,901-yard course.
  • The LPGA Tour returns to the historic Bay Course at Seaview on September 27-October 3 for the Shoprite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer. The event has been hosted just outside of Atlantic City since 1986 and has been long considered a South Jersey staple. Tickets are on sale now. (Click for more)
  • The 2021 NJSGA Corporate Golf Challenge presented by Provident Bank is a can’t miss event. The tournament is open to teams which represent New Jersey-based companies from any business sector.   • The 10th Annual Fore the Kids Golf Tournament will be held at Mountain Ridge Country Club on Monday, September 20th. Spectrum360’s mission is to provide the highest quality educational and therapeutic programs for individuals with learning, language and social/emotional challenges to achieve their maximum potential as responsible adults in society; recognize and value the individuals’ unique abilities, learning styles and differences; and serve as a leader in promoting innovative educational programs.   • The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club will be hosting a unique, one-time opportunity for the public to participate in the 122nd U.S. Amateur Championship Preview Event. The event is tax-deductible - 501 (c) (3). 58% of the entry fee can be deducted; proceeds will fund the 2022 U.S. Amateur Championship. (Click for more)
  • Due to many students going back to college, many golf clubs in New Jersey are looking for help as the golf season continues. Contact your local golf club to inquire on any opportunities.
  • The LPGA Cognizant Founders Cup is coming to New Jersey from October 4-10 at Mountain Ridge Country Club. The organization is looking for volunteers for the historic event. (Click for more)
  • Jon Podany was named the USGA Chief Commercial Officer, starting September 1. Podany will manage corporate partnerships, hospitality, broadcast and digital media, communications, marketing, ticketing and merchandising. (Click for more)
