The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2022 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • Jack Wall of Brielle is set to compete in the 116th Southern Amateur Championship at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia. (Click for more)
  • Ami Gianchandani and Kelly Sim are competing in the prestigious North & South Women’s Amateur Championship at Pinehurst No. 2 and No. 4. In the opening round, Sim carded a 1-over par 73, while Gianchandani shot a 6-over par 78. (Click for more)
  • William O'Neill is competing in the Porter Cup at Niagara Falls Country Club from July 13-16. (Click for more)
  • Ryan McCormick is set to tee off at 7:25 a.m. in the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS. (Click for more)
  • Dean Gresyerman is set to compete in the Florida Open Championship July 15-17 at Bradenton Country Club and Lakewood National Golf Club. (Click for more)
  • Registration is open for the Central Jersey UA Tour at Eagle Ridge, which will run July 29, August 5, 19 and 30. Age groups for the 18-hole events will be 16-18, 13-15, 10-12 and girls. Contact the pro shop for registration 732-901-4900.
  • Registration is open for the Charity Challenge, set for Monday, August 29, 2022 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. It is a 10 a.m. shotgun with a four-man scramble followed by a post-reception in the Grand Ballroom. The event will build hope and a future for at-risk children in Santiago, Chile. (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur at The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club. (Click for more)
  • Volunteer opportunities are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur which include walking scorers, marshals/forecaddies, standard bearers, tee services, operations and caddie services. Young adults ages 16-21 are able to volunteer for free. (Click for more)
  • Entries are open for the several USGA Championships, including the U.S. Mid-Amateur (Closes July 20), U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur (Closes July 27), U.S. Amateur Four-Ball (Closes Aug. 10), U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball (Closes Aug. 10). (Click to register)
