The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2022 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • The U.S. Junior Amateur is underway at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and several New Jersey natives were competing in Liam Pasternak (Morristown), Lance Hollingshead (Basking Ridge), Reed Greyserman (Short Hills), Richie Reck (Middletown), Barnes Blake (Westfield), Jack Ross (Medford Lakes).   • Chris Housen of Manasquan River Golf Club earned medalist honors at qualifying for the U.S. Senior Amateur at Alpine Country Club. Harris Podvey (West Caldwell) also punched his ticket for the championship after a playoff. The championship will take place at The Kittansett Club in Marion, Mass. from August 27- September 1.  (Click for more)
  • Tee times and pairings are set for the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur and several New Jersey golfers are in the field. Tara Fleming, formerly of Jersey City, Adrienne MacLean, formerly of Basking Ridge, Susan Sardi of Skillman and Linda Erkert-Bullock of Milford qualified for the 60th U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, held at Anchorage Golf Course, Anchorage, Alaska from July 30- August 4, 2022.   • Chris Gotterup received a sponsors exemption for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which begins Thursday in Detroit, Mich., he is set to tee off at 2:22 p.m. ET. (Click for more)
  • Several New Jersey boys and girls are competing in the AJGA UHY New York Junior at Ardsley Country Club in Rye, N.Y. (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur at The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club. (Click for more)
  • Volunteer opportunities are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur which include walking scorers, marshals/forecaddies, standard bearers, tee services, operations and caddie services. Young adults ages 16-21 are able to volunteer for free. (Click for more)
  • Entries for the 101st W.Y. Dear Junior Championship at Navesink Country Club closes July 28. (Click to register)
