  • Rutgers senior Chris Gotterup of Little Silver and Rider senior Austin Devereux of Brielle were named to the Division I PING All-Northeast Regional team as announced by the organization over the holiday weekend. (Click for more on Gotterup) (Click for more on Devereux)
  • In the stroke play portion of the 2021 NCAA Championships, Scotch Plains native John Pak finished in fifth individually, putting together a 3-under 277 through four rounds. The Florida State men’s golfer, who’s currently the No. 1 ranked college golfer in the country helped his Seminole’s advance to the match play portion of the championship. They fell to Pepperdine in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. (Click for more)
  • Pak received Korn Ferry Tour membership and will be exempt into all open, full-field events beginning with the BMW Charity Pro-Am, June 10-13, through the conclusion of the regular season. He earned this through the inaugural PGA Tour University class. (Click for more)
  • Pak stacked on accolades this week, being named the winner of the illustrious Fred Haskins Award. (Click for more)
  • The 2021 Women’s U.S. Open begins on Thursday, June 3 at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif. Four players in the field have Garden State ties, which includes Marina Alex (Wayne, N.J.), Megha Ganne (Holdmel, N.J.), Cheyenne Woods (Spring Lake sectional qualifying medalist) and Leigha Devine (Rutgers).   • 2021 U.S. Open final qualifying takes place June 7, 2021 at various sites across the country. Seven New Jersey golfers will be competing for a spot to compete at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, Calif. (Click for more)

  • Golf outing opportunity – Bergen County CASA “Fore the Kids” Golf Classic to be held at Edgewood Country Club on Monday, July 12. (Click for details)
  • The 42nd Annual Dennis Keelty Memorial Golf Classic is being held at Plainfield Country Club in Edison on Monday, June 21. The event supports the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey, which assists persons with hemophilia and their families. Celebrating its 50th year, the HANJ’s mission is to improve the quality of life for those with a bleeding disorder by providing access to highly qualified medical treaters and successfully proven medical regimens.
