The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2022 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • 2019 New Jersey Open Champion Chris Gotterup won the Haskins Award, given to the Most Outstanding Male Collegiate Golfer since 1971 as voted on by college players, coaches and media. He finished in the top-5 at the NCAA Individua Championship. (Click for more
  • Troy Vannucci of Little Mill Country Club won the GAP Middle-Amateur Championship after shooting a 70-71 and winning a 4-hole playoff at Jericho National Golf Club. Michael Brown and Brandon Dalinka both notched top-5 finishes. (Click for more)
  • Cole Ekert, Bill Hook, Chris Gotterup, Sam Goldenring, Ryan McCormick, Dean Gresyerman, Mark Constanza and Brendan Hansen are set to compete in the final round of the 122nd U.S. Open Championship at Old Oaks Country Club and Century Country Club on June 6. (Click for more)
  • Monmouth University is accepting applications for its Head Women's Golf Coach position. (Click for more)
  • Registration is open for the Charity Challenge, set for Monday, August 29, 2022 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. It is a 10 a.m. shotgun with a four-man scramble followed by a post-reception in the Grand Ballroom. The event will build hope and a future for at-risk children in Santiago, Chile. (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur at The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club. (Click for more)
  • Volunteer opportunities are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur which include walking scorers, marshals/forecaddies, standard bearers, tee services, operations and caddie services. (Click for more)
  • The LPGA Leadership Academy is headed to New Jersey on July 13-14, 2022 for girls ages 13-18. The Academy, which will take place at USGA headquarters is aimed at girls who have some experience in golf and an interest in improving confidence, communication, decision making, team and leadership skills. (Click for more)
  • The MGA Foundation, in partnership with Met Area clubs, will work through GOLFWORKS, its flagship internship program, will aid Ukranian State-side refugees enrolled at American colleges and universities who do not have a home country to return to this summer. Ukranian students as well as clubs looking to participate in this program should contact foundation@mgagolf.org.
  • Registration for the 2022 Youth Foundation Pro-Am at The Ridge at Back Brook on July 20th is open. The foundation supports deserving youth golf and sports-related programs throughout the State of New Jersey. This support is provided through grants, instructional clinics, and recognition through NJSGA publications and events. (Click for more)
