Mark Costanza (Morristown) is set to play in the round of 16 in the 40th U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Sankaty Head Golf Club. He tees off at 8:25 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Michael Muehr also earned a spot in the match play portion of the championship, falling in the round of 32. (Click for more)
Noelle Maertz (Clark) and Hana Ku (Basking Ridge) advanced to match play in U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Barkeley Hall Club in Bluffton, South Carolina. They both dropped their round of 64 matches on Monday. (Click for more)

The Passaic County Technical Institute Education Foundation (PCTI) is set to host their ‘For the Kids’ Golf Scholarship Classic on Monday, October 4 at North Jersey Country Club. The outing helps provide student scholarships and special grants to assist educational programs at PCTI. (Click for more)

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County will be hosting their ‘Golf for Homes’ outing on Monday, October 4 at Beacon Hill Country Club, which will help aid in the construction of an affordable two-family home in Atlantic Highlands, wheelchair ramps and the continuation of their ‘A Brush with Kindness’ minor repair program for seniors.
