Great winter golf opportunities in the Garden State
New Jersey is blessed with dozens of courses that remain open for play throughout the winter - weather permitting, of course. These courses range from Bergen County in the north to Cape May County in the south, and everywhere in between.
The ever-increasing number of indoor facilities around the Garden State are also a great option to keep skills sharp. Your local course may even provide amenities such as virtual golf simulators with PGA professionals on hand to provide instruction and fitness programs.
The following is a county-by-county listing of Garden State courses that will remain open for play this winter, weather permitting. Golfers are advised to book a tee time in advance. And, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, players should consult each course’s web site for special safety protocols, and of course wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
Included in this list are a number of prestigious venues such as historic Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield, Ballamor Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, Charleston Springs Golf Course in Millstone, Crystal Springs Golf Club in Hamburg, Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, and Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station.
