Volunteer opportunities are available for the 72nd  U.S. Women’s Open Championship, to be contested at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., July 10-16. Conducted by the United States Golf Association,  (USGA), the U.S. Women’s Open is considered the world’s most prestigious championship for women in golf.

To date, approximately 1,000 volunteers have filled roles on more than 20 committees, with positions on the following committees still available: Ball Position, Leader Boards and Marshals. All volunteers are required to purchase the volunteer Package for ($135 (a $250 value), which includes two (2) championship golf shirts, one championship windbreaker, one championship hat or visor, one  water bottle and one  volunteer credential which allows access to the championship for all seven days, as well as complimentary food, snacks and beverages on the days they volunteer. Each volunteer will be asked to work approximately 16 to 20 hours, or four or five shifts, during championship week.

There is also a special opportunity for volunteers interested in serving above and beyond. This Super Volunteer position includes all of the above, plus the opportunity to play in the volunteer golf outing on the Old Course at Trump National in Bedminster. Super Volunteers are asked to work at least eight (8) four-hour shifts during the week. Interested parties must first register as a volunteer through the website, and then contact the championship office to be added to the Super Volunteer list.
